Robynne Boyd

Robynne began writing about people and the planet after college while living barefoot and by a campfire on the North Shore of Kauai, Hawaii. Years later, and now fully dependent on electricity, she continues this work as a freelance writer in Decatur, GA. Along the way, she was an editor, writer, and manager for IISD Reporting Services, covering United Nations environmental negotiations around the globe. She blogged for Scientific American's "Plugged In,” and covered the southeast region for the Natural Resources Defenses. Her work appears Fast Company, Pacific Standard, Atlanta Magazine, UnDark, and Huffington Post, amongst others.
