Dr. Marilyn A. Brown is Interim Chair of the School of Public Policy at the Georgia Institute of Technology where she created and co-leads the Climate and Energy Policy Lab and the Master of Sustainable Energy and Environmental Management.

John A. “Skip” Laitner is a Tucson-based, long-time international resource economist who has
undertaken a variety of projects, research initiatives, and speaking engagements in diverse places as Australia, Japan, China, Russia, Europe, and of course, the United States.

Shelby is the Chief Sustainability Officer and Deputy Director (Climate Action & Climate Equity),
Sustainability and Mobility Department for the City of San Diego. She leads the team’s work developing,
implementing, and reporting on the City of San Diego’s Climate Action Plan.

Xiaojing is a clean energy and sustainability professional experienced in energy efficiency and renewable energy policy, urban sustainability, electric utility regulation, rate design, as well as clean tech manufacturing, and international trade.

Pam is the Owner & Principal of Impact Energy, a certified Black women-owned energy services company that focuses on energy efficiency project
implementation, workforce development, and civic engagement. Their mission
is to promote an equitable energy economy within the energy industry that
positively impacts lives and supports community economic advancement.
